Rules for Campers & Parents
Please review these important camp rules and expectations before arrival so your wrestler is prepared for a safe, focused, and positive camp experience.
Important Videos to Watch Before Camp
Before camp begins, please take a few minutes to review these important videos so you know what to expect and how we create the best possible camp environment.
Camp Rules & Practices
No outside food or drinks
We do not allow outside food or drinks on campus as we have wrestlers with severe allergies we have to be conscious about.
No Snacks in the Bunkhouse
To help maintain a clean and sanitary bunkhouse, snacks are not allowed in the bunks. Campers are not permitted to bring their own snacks into the bunkhouse because there is no food storage area, and we want to avoid mice, ants, and insects. Concession items are available for purchase in the rec room and dining hall areas. Â
Campers Must Remain on Premises
Athletes must stay within the boundaries of camp at all times. Anyone who leaves the premises will be sent home with no refund. Property damage may also result in a fine. Camp is for learning, training, and giving every wrestler a positive experience. Â
No Bare Feet on the Mats
No bare feet are allowed on the wrestling mats. Wrestlers must change shoes before stepping onto the mats.Â
Special Dietary Needs
If your camper has special dietary needs other than gluten, please contact our team ahead of camp to make arrangements. Purler does not use peanut products in meal menus or in the concession stand. Gluten-free substitutes are kept on hand for meals, and almond milk is available for campers who are lactose intolerant. Families may also send supplemental food for a camper with allergies or intolerances, but it must be labeled and stored in the designated area at check-in. No food is allowed in the bunks.Â
Rules for Parents
Parents may watch the last session on the final day of camp only. To help maintain a focused, distraction-free training environment, parents are welcome to visit their wrestler but must meet in the designated parking lot and picnic table area. Parents, friends, and family members are not allowed to roam the campgrounds, dining pavilion, bunkhouses, or other camper areas. If you take your child off campus, please check out with a coach before leaving.Â
