All airport transportation must be booked online using the registration form on this page. Transportation is available through St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) only. Families should read all timing guidelines and policies carefully before booking flights.
If flights arrive early, campers may need to wait in baggage claim until their scheduled pickup group.
Flight Timing Rules
Multicolumn
Arrival Flights
Book all arrivals into STL before 6:00 PM the night before camp starts. Pickup groups are scheduled for 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Campers stay overnight at the Litchfield facility with coaches, and a light dinner is provided. If a flight scheduled before 6:00 PM is delayed, Purler will still pick up the wrestler when they arrive.
Departure Flights
Book departures from STL after 6:00 PM on the last day of camp to allow campers to attend the full final review, or schedule the flight for the following day after 9:00 AM. Departures earlier than those times require the family to arrange their own transportation.
Early arrivals and late departures may result in long airport wait times, so campers should bring money for snacks or meals if needed. Airport transportation is handled in large groups due to the number of athletes flying in and out.
Unaccompanied Minor Policy
Purler does not provide airport pickup or drop-off services for unaccompanied minors due to staffing requirements. Southwest classifies unaccompanied minors as under age 12, while Alaska, Frontier, United, Delta, and American classify them as 14 and under. That means:
Under 12: must fly with an adult both ways
Ages 12–14: may fly alone only on Southwest
Over 14: may fly alone on any airline
That means:
Under 12: must fly with an adult both ways
Ages 12–14: may fly alone only on Southwest
Over 14: may fly alone on any airline.
Book direct flights whenever possible to avoid connection issues.
Pick-Up Instructions
Please send your wrestler in a Purler or wrestling t-shirt for easy identification. Purler staff will be wearing Purler Wrestling t-shirts.
Meeting Points
Southwest arrivals: Terminal 2, Baggage Claim 1
All other airlines: Terminal 1, Baggage Claim 4
About 4–5 days before camp, Purler sends pickup group schedules by email. About 2 days before arrival, wrestlers are added to a group message with their driver and pickup group so they know exactly which exit to use, who their driver is, and what vehicle to look for.
Transportation Pricing
Airport transportation is $120 total round trip or $60 one way per wrestler. The round-trip fee includes transportation to and from camp, dinner the night they fly in, breakfast the next morning, and the extra night’s stay. Families should also plan ahead for any airline bag fees on the return flight.
