What Campers Can Bring

Each wrestler may bring ONE suitcase, a backpack or wrestling bag, and a mesh laundry bag. Each camper has their own 40 x 30 x 24-inch shelf, and all gear should stay on that shelf to help keep the bunkhouse safe and organized. Please do not bring trunks or construction-style toolboxes, since they can scratch floors and take up too much space.

    • Sports water bottle with your name on it
    • Mesh laundry bag for dirty clothes

  • Hygiene & Personal Items

    • Toiletries
    • Good antibacterial soap
    • No spray deodorant
    • Two towels
    • Sunscreen
    • Bug repellent lotion or oil (no spray)

  • Wrestling Gear & Bedding

    • Wrestling gear
    • Neoprene knee pads recommended
    • Pack two pairs of knee pads if possible
    • Twin sheet set
    • Blanket
    • Pillow

Helpful Notes Before You Pack

Electronic games and cell phones are brought at your own risk. We recommend packing an inexpensive pair of headphones and storing electronics, money, and other valuables in your lock box when not in use. Wrestlers should also pack enough workout clothes for their own needs. Some athletes may only need a change of shirt between sessions, while others may want a full change after each training session. Showers are available daily, and campers are encouraged to shower after each session. When in doubt, pack a little extra so your wrestler can stay clean, comfortable, and organized throughout camp. We do not allow outside food or drinks on campus as we have wrestlers with severe allergies we have to be conscious about.

Important Packing Rules

Write your wrestler’s name on the bottom of the lock box and keep the code available at home in case they forget it. Purler Wrestling will not cut open lock boxes. Please do not send spray deodorant, spray bug repellent, trunks, or construction-style toolboxes. Label personal items clearly whenever possible.

Laundry Service for Extended-Stay Campers

Laundry service is available for wrestlers staying for multiple back-to-back camps, Dream Season Camp, and the 28-Day Challenge Camp. The cost is $15 cash per laundry day. Please send exact change in an envelope labeled with the wrestler’s name and “laundry.” Campers must bring a labeled mesh laundry bag that is free of holes. Laundry service is not available for 5-day campers.
