A 1 Hour & 45 Minute Session With Enough Scrimmage Time To Equal 10 Live Matches

The session will be broken up into two parts: a thirty minute clinic by our Purler Wrestling staff and 1 hour and 15 minutes of live wrestling. Parents can stick around and watch the entire session.

What Are Friday Night Fights?

Friday Night Fights are high-repetition live wrestling events held the evening before Competition Hammer Camps.

These sessions give wrestlers the chance to get a large number of live matches in a structured environment before camp begins. Wrestlers are grouped with similar partners to ensure competitive matches while still allowing them to get a large volume of experience.

For many wrestlers, this is one of the best ways to gain mat confidence and sharpen competitive skills without the pressure of a traditional tournament.

How Friday Night Fights Work

  • Step 1

    Check in before the event begins at the Purler Athletic Center.

  • Step 2

    Wrestlers rotate through partners and matches to maximize live wrestling opportunities.

  • Step 3

    Get up to 10 matches before camp even begins.

Event Details

Friday Night Fights runs from 6:30 PM to 8:15 PM at the Purler Athletic Center.

Wrestlers attending Competition Hammer Camp the following day may check in early and stay overnight at no additional cost.

Breakfast will be provided Saturday morning before the start of camp training.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch the live wrestling.

Who Can Attend

Friday Night Fights is open to wrestlers ages 7–18 with at least one year of wrestling experience.

Overnight Option

Wrestlers attending Competition Hammer Camp the next day may stay overnight at no additional cost.

Parents are welcome to attend and watch the event.
