We are excited to offer a GIRLS only option of our popular Competition Hammer Camp! Our Purler Wrestling Girls Academy coaches, Ty Purler and Tanner Irwin, are instructing our female-only camps. These are the same Purler Wrestling Academy’s Competition Hammer Camps we offer as “in-season” wrestling camps that are held ten different weekends from August through May. Those camps are coed, but do not offer on-site housing for females. By choosing our girls only Competition Hammer Camps females can stay on campus overnight. There are 2 day and 3 day camps available. Two of those weekends, one in May and one in October, are dedicated exclusively to leg riding. We are also offering the Friday Night Fight option for our female camps. Space is limited, so register today!

New Add-on Option for Girls Only Competition Hammer Camp: Girls Only Friday Night Fights

Friday Night Fights is an hour and fifteen minute session with enough scrimmage time to equal 10 live matches! Your athlete will be put in groups of three and given the opportunity to wrestle opponents from all across the midwest. Competition Hammer Camp wrestlers who sign up for FNF will be able to check in for camp early and stay Friday night at no additional charge. Just be sure your wrestler has had dinner and we'll take care of breakfast Saturday morning. To add on the FNF option just check it during the Competition Hammer Camp registration.

Take charge of your success at our Competition Hammer Camps. At these camps, your kids will get a chance to train with a wide variety of skilled wrestlers and many up-and-comers in the sport of wrestling. Camps are for ages 7-18. Everyone wins at Purler™ Wrestling Camps!

Come to just 5 of these competition hammer camps per year, and your athlete will get over 200 matches worth of live wrestling! This will lead to:

  • more wins
  • more confidence
  • more success
  • more titles
  • more college scholarship opportunities!

Quit the Expensive, “National” Tournaments!

Quit spending $600 on a so-called, “national” wrestling tournament only to get a lousy 14 minutes of live wrestling. At our camps, for only $175 (2-day camp) or $225 (3-day camp), you can get over 40 matches worth of live wrestling with our two-day camp option! This is based on the six minute match time

Parents may watch the final practice on Sunday only. For safety and liability reasons, as well as, our ability to provide a distraction FREE camp for your kids, we cannot have parents in the facilities, the wrestling area, shower rooms, bunk houses, etc. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Please feed your kids a late breakfast/early lunch on Saturday. We push back times on Day 1 as a way to save many of our athletes’ parents from needing to buy a hotel on Friday night and allow them to drive in on Saturday. We will provide a late lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well as, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Three day camp gets dinner Sunday night and a breakfast on the last day.

No Snacks Please

We offer a concession stand and every item is priced at $2 for snack items, and $3 for meal type food items (Hot Pockets, Burritos, etc.). NO food or drinks allowed inside the bunk houses or outside of the designated area in the wrestling room. We need to maintain a clean environment for the wrestlers and do not have storage areas for snacks in the bunkhouses. We will have plenty of variety and if your wrestler has any special dietary needs please let us know.

All kids are allowed just 3 pieces of luggage ONLY! Each athlete gets a 3′ x 2′ x 2′ storage shelf and all suitcases/bags must fit into this area. Any wrestler with luggage that doesn’t fit in the storage area will need to unpack their items and parents will need to take the extra luggage home. We must keep our floors cleared for emergency exits, no bags on the floor. Thanks for understanding.

Everyone MUST bring TWIN size bedding, pillow, towels, toiletries, and a water bottle. Put your name on your water bottle.

All refunds issued will be in the form of a camp credit towards any future Purler Wrestling camp with Nick Purler™. A camper dismissed for disciplinary reasons will not be considered for a credit.

Any camper leaving camp due to an injury/illness will be given a credit for the remaining value of the camp. Please remember that wrestling is a contact sport and injuries are a part of that, as well as skin infections. By enrolling in camp you are assuming the risk that your child may be injured, become ill, or have a skin infection and unable to complete camp, and it is understood that credit will be given for only the remaining days’ value.

If a camper chooses to leave camp by their own choice, for any reason, they will not receive a credit for the remainder of camp. Campers are welcome to reschedule their camp dates if space is available. By registering for camp you are agreeing to abide by these cancellation/refund guidelines.
